Bench inspection

图片
With everyone's careful preparation, our bench inspection was successfully completed. Everyone was responsible for different parts of the presentation of the project and gave corresponding answers to the teacher's questions. Below are photos of each person during the presentation and showed all the components of our project, as well as videos showing results from the project that we eventually submitted. Week 4

Week 4                       Remotely controlled prosthetic arm using Arduino Summary of week’s activities: 1. We successfully controlled all the servo at the same time. 2. We reconnected circuits in a better way to facilitate our organizations of components. 3. We fixed five flex sensors on the grove and measured the new values of these sensors. This week we continued to fix the problem of five servo motors that can not be controlled at the same time. We tested the flex sensors again and found that each sensor had a different value of the range. So the default range value could not satisfy all the sensors and when the value was read from the sensor sent to the master device. It can not recognize the lower value out of the range and do some strange movement. Then, we change the reading value in accordance with the flex sensors' respective. After doing this, we stuck the flex sensors to the glove. Thus, we could ...

Week 3

Week 3                 Remotely controlled prosthetic arm using Arduino   Summary of week’s activities: 1. We successfully built the connection between the flex sensor and the servo motor by Bluetooth. The motor is capable of rotating at different degrees according to the bending degree of the flex sensor. 2. We can control two groups of flex sensors and motors at the same time. 3. The structure and design of the poster have been completed, but the concrete content has not been written. In last week's experiment, the biggest difficulty we faced was that we could not make two motors receive signals transmitted by different bending sensors through Bluetooth at the same time. This week we focused on modifying the motor code, and the final result was that two motors can be controlled independently by each bending sensors without being affected (Fig.1). The only problem was that there is a delay. We'll try to impro...

Week 2

Week 2                              Remotely controlled prosthetic arm using Arduino Summary of week’s activities: 1. We tested the code for flex sensors and soldered wires to flex sensors. 2. The connection between HC-05 Bluetooth went wrong, so we reset them and reconnect all the lines, and solved it in the end. 3. We had made two physical fingers but found some problems with the structure. 4. We’ll meet on Saturday to figure out the task of Controlling 5 servos simultaneously by using master Bluetooth. We continued the rest part of the task we left last week.  We first soldered wires to flex sensors. The reason is the bottom wire of the flex sensor is too short and not so easy to touch the breadboard. So we need to guarantee the circuit connection is stably (Fig.1) Fig.1 Soldered Flex Sensors Then we compiled the code for flex sensors and connected it to the circuit which contain the master devi...

Week 1                              Remotely controlled prosthetic arm using Arduino Summary of week’s activities: 1. We c ol lected all the components and tested them to ensure the equipment can be used normally. 2. We successfully configure and pair two HC-05 Bluetooth Modules as master and slave by using AT commend. 3. We successfully used Bluetooth to control the servo. 4. We decided the method of making prosthetic hand. At first, our group collected all the components as follow. 1. Two HC-05 Bluetooth Module (Fig.1) 2. Two Arduino board (Mega2560 and Nano) (Fig.2 and 3) 3. Five Servo Motor (Fig.4) Fig.1     Fig.2 Fig.3                      Fig.4                                                     ...
